PROJECT 2025 is a conservative manifesto created by the Heritage Family that intends to dismantle U.S. democracy, reverse civil progress and strip American citizens of countless constitutional rights. The 900 page document highlights a myriad of agendas that will negatively and systemically impact marginalized communities, especially African-Americans and immigrants. Project 2025 coming into fruition would endanger civic essentials such as public schooling, homeownership, welfare along with countless national programs rooted in diversity, equity and inclusion.

WHAT IS THE PUSH BACK?

WHAT IS PROJECT 2025

Project 2025 is a manifesto proposed by over 100 conservative organizations that seeks to reshape the federal government by dismantling regulatory protections, reducing social welfare programs, and banning any focus on equity. Its policies threaten democracy and disproportionately impact Black and marginalized communities, prompting the need for action to prevent its vision from becoming a reality.

HOW WILL PROJECT 2025 IMPACT YOU?

Criminal Justice

“Woke” and “drug dealers” are code words found in Project 2025 for the criminalization of Black and Brown Americans and immigrants. The doctrine aims to turn the POTUS into a dictator and return the United States to police states. With Blacks already suffering historically disproportionate incarceration rates, the agenda calls for systemic racism and disparity when pertaining to the American justice system.

Economics & Employment

For centuries, labor laws and economic equality have been at the root of the African-American fight for civil rights. Nonetheless, Project 2025 desires to undo the hard earned labor market progress by suppressing the Department of Commerce and exterminating federal programs that aid in economic proficiency for Blacks, Latin Americans and all immigrants (ex. Homeownership).

Civil Rights

Project 2025 intends to reverse the historical progress POC have made in the United States by reducing and removing federal labor laws which protect minorities. It intends to abort any affirmative action or DEI initiatives while obstructing future efficacy by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).

Digital Creators

We are currently living in a digital age, yet Project 2025 intends to stifle and literally handcuff online creatives. Their key word is “Pornography.” The agenda plans to give the government authority to exact any digital content it deems “porn” punishable by prison. This means that a music video or digital commercial considered too provocative by conservative standards could turn an artist into a felon.

Health

Despite African-Americans leading the United States in mortality rates by diabetes, hypertension, stroke and heart disease, Project 2025 aims to eliminate healthcare services (ex. Medicaid) and legislation that resists healthcare disparities (ex. Affordable Healthcare Act). It also plans to strip women of their reproductive rights and girls of their right to sex education.

Education

Fully aware that the prosperity of any race’s future lies heavily on its education system, Project 2025 is focused on eliminating DEI scholastic programs and returning school segregation. Although hate crimes are in the thousands per year, under this manifesto, protections for minority students will be extinct. Basically, the aim is to deconstruct all that Brown vs The Board of Education built.

We are mere weeks away from possibly the most important presidential election of this generation. America is progressing further away from its ugly history and toward more equality amongst all citizens. This has the old guard unhappy and focused on reversing the times and earned civil rights, specifically for minorities. On November 5, it is your duty to vote for the preservation and protection of your rights. There is simply no other choice.
